Still want to help us?

Even though the event is past us, you can still help out! Every year, 15 million babies are born prematurely worldwide, and 1 million will die before their first birthday. World Prematurity Awareness Day is on November 17th and every $25 donated will go towards a knitted hat being delivered to the NICU. You can even include a personalized message of kindness and hope by emailing the message you would like to deliver. Your gift helps the March of Dimes fund research, education, advocacy and programs that help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Visit the Fund the Mission page by clicking the button at the top.

March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Awards Presented by Fairview, HealthEast, and University of Minnesota Health - honored outstanding nurses in the state of Minnesota. More than 400 nurses were nominated for the awards. Leaders in the healthcare industry presented finalists with awards in sixteen unique categories, culminating with the prestigous Distinguished Nurse of the Year award. The remarkable efforts of these individuals often goes unsung, and the March of Dimes is proud to celebrate nursing excellence.
